Leesburg is the county seat for Loudoun and has been for over 250 years. The area has a rich history with many historical sites that can be visited today such as Dodona Manor, Morven Park, Whites Ferry, Balls Bluff Battlefield, and Oatlands Plantation.
When it comes to real estate, Leesburg varies greatly depending on where you live. Downtown Leesburg has an allure like few other small towns. It is the setting of the county courthouse, mom-n-pop shops, dinners, vintage homes, and a thriving yet quaint feel. Outside of downtown Leesburg, there are some fantastic communities near the commuter routes of 7, 15, and toll road. Go a little further in any direction and you will find yourself in picturesque settings with large homes and spacious lots.
