Loudoun County VA Real Estate & Neighborhood Information

    The Regency In Ashburn, VA

The Regency was one of the first single family home communities built in Ashburn, VA.  Since much of the community is surrounded by mature trees, few locals know of its location.

The Regency consists of around 50 single family homes on half acre lots.  It was built from 1997 to the early 2000′s by a handful of builders who blended the homes nicely so that there is a custom feel throughout the neighborhood.  The location of the community is between Waxpool Road (The Shellhorn Portion) and Ashburn Village Blvd (see a map ).

Here is short video of the community…

Keeping An Eye On Goose Creek Village

I have been discussing the development of Goose Creek Village  for a couple of years.  Since it’s origins, it has converted from being a Centex product to now being a Pulte Homes product.

If you have driven by in the last 6 months you have noticed the new Walgreens, Sunoco, and the community now has a full row of town homes off of Belmont Ridge Road.  The latest development is a building, sign, and stone stairs.  Here are a few photos that you can check out….

Ashburn Communities With The Largest Yards: Over Half An Acre

Land costs in Loudoun County can be really high.  Especially in the Ashburn area which is without question the most populated and sought after community in Loudoun.

Ashburn HomeHere is a list of the communities in Ashburn that currently offer the most land…

    1 acre lots

    • Evergreen Reserve (currently the only builder offering 1 acre lots)
    • Potomac Farms (north of Route 7 bordering Sterling)

    .99 acres – .75 acres

    .74 acres – .50 acres

Some of these communities and possibly others not mentioned may fit within more than one category.  This is a general list and should be verified for accuracy.

    Ashburn’s Two Newest Communities

Ashburn is releasing two new communities this year that are sure to be a big hit…  Goose Creek Preserve and Station View.

    Goose Creek Preserve   Station View

The first to deliver will be Goose Creek Preserve built by Lennar and Brookfield homes.  Goose Creek Preserve will be a 500 home community backing to Goose Creek including single families, duplexes, and town homes.  You may have already seen the large sign placed on the trailer on Belmont Ridge Road  near the new Goose Creek Village.  The community will include a community center, gym, playground, and more…  I expect this to have a similar feel to Martins Chase in Ashburn.  These homes will most likely begin selling this summer (2010).

The newest community and most likely the latest delivery will be Station View.  This will be a town home community built by MI Homes including spacious 24 ft wide town homes.  Station View will be located off of Old Ryan Road  and has some of the most valuable land in the area… Why?  The name Station View speaks for itself.  It is located across the street from the propossed future Ashburn Silver Line Metro stop.
