Lakeshore Condos In Ashburn Village
February 9th, 2010 Categories: Ashburn Village, Community Of The Week

If you are considering purchasing a condo in the Ashburn area you may have never considered Lakeshore Condos in Ashburn Village. In my opinion, this is one of the best values and locations for condos in the area.
Lakeshore Condos are spacious one, two, and three bedroom garden style condos facing Pavilion Lake in Ashburn Village. All of the units are on one level, though they are not all on the ground floor. Most of the units have a water view from at least one of the bedrooms or living area providing a sense of privacy and serenity.
The Skinny…
- 1 bedroom units are either 798 or 862 sq ft (there are 70)
- 2 bedroom units are either 1184, 1221 sq ft.
- 3 bedroom units are 1335 sq ft.
- The condos have access to the amenities of the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion.
- The units come with at least 1 assigned parking spot.
- The community is in walking distance to the Ashburn Village shopping center.
My Opinion…
If you are looking for a condo with a garage, then Brambleton may be a better fit for you. However, if a garage isn’t a necessity, you can find incredible values at Lakeshore Condos. My clients who have owned these love the community and being near the lake.

Ashburn Bus Bench
September 29th, 2009 Categories: Ashburn Village
While driving through Ashburn Village today, I noticed a public bus bench which isn’t a common site in this metro subburb. Public transportation is not a very popular choice of travel in the Ashburn area… yet. Things could be changing. This bench can be found at the corner of Ashburn Village Blvd. and Cheltenham.

My guess is that close to 70% of the current buyers in the market are searching for homes under $400,000. It is almost impossible to find a home like this that is not bank owned or a short sale.
This weekend I have one. My assumption is that it will only be on the market through the weekend so if you are interested you better act quick! Here is a short video tour I shot for the home…

August Ashburn Home Sales Stats; Belmont CC, Ashburn Village, Ashburn Farms
August 5th, 2009 Categories: Ashburn Village, Belmont Country Club, Market Statistics
Last week we reviewed all that happened in July. As of today, you can see that we still have a drainage problem with homes going from contract to settlement quickly.
Inventory is still very low for the Ashburn 20147 area (Ashburn Village, Ashburn Farm, and Belmont Country Club). It will be interesting to see what happens in August as cycles historically begin to settle…

Washington Redskins Training Camp; Ashburn VA
August 4th, 2009 Categories: Ashburn Village, For Fun
It is football season again! Loudoun County is home of the Washington Redskins. Their training camps have been taking place and will continue through August 8th starting at 8:30am… To get your training camp passes go to the Redskins dot com website.
I was able to make it to a very humid practice this morning. I was going to grab some video but wasn’t able too due to the park rules. There is a lot of excitement in the air as all Redskins fan believe from opening day that we are playoff caliber.
Hail to the Redskins!
