One of the best parts of my job is being able to educate buyers about neighborhoods and areas. You can get a taste of this by simply scrolling through my site.
However, there are questions that I cannot address as an agent. For example, it is illegal for me to recommend a certain neighborhood based upon racial populations. It is also illegal for me to discuss certain topics such as area crime records and if a neighborhood has a lot of kids…
So, here a few ideas to help you research and be fully educated regarding where you live…
3 Tips To Discovering Your Area…
A. Ask co-workers and friends for recommendations.. Especially if a commute is involved.
B. Spend time driving around neighborhoods that interest you. If parking is a potential issue, be sure to visit during busy hours.
C. Use the internet to research crime stats, sex offenders, schools, etc… A few sites… (bestplaces.net, familywatchdog.us, greatschools.com)
