Richmond American Homes Is On To Something
It is not often that builders build spec homes. A spec home is a home built and customized for a potential buyer… not an actual buyer.
Builders typically avoid this due to homes sitting vacant or potentially building something that doesn’t fit what a buyer is searching for. Well, when Richmond American saw the market beginning to curve north they took a risk a couple of months back and began building a lot of spec homes.
The result… lots of sales. Why.. because there is little inventory available and buyers don’t have to wait for the homes to start being built which shortens waiting periods.
Take for example a community that sat like a blind turtle for months and months.. Winsbury at Arcola in Dulles. They began building specs there and now they have sold 9 of 10 homes in the last 2 weeks! Not a bad plan…
Community Of The Week: Winsbury Of Arcola

Nice Plan….. just do it and i will be one with one house there.
