9/9/09… 9 Of Loudoun’s Best Neighborhoods
In recognition of it being 9/9/09, I decided to highlight a few of Loudoun Counties best neighborhoods… Some of these neighborhood fit all three categories so I will do my best to be specific as to which sections I am referring to.
Loudoun’s 3 Best Starter Home Neighborhoods…
Priced from 325k- 425k.
- Pulte Homes- Oaklawn/ Leesburg. This new neighborhood has a very unique style and is now much closer due to Battlefield Parkway opening. Prices can range from 330k- 390k.
- Cascades/ Sterling- If you are looking for a current steal on a town home with a little age but in a great location, you cannot beat these homes off of Algonkian Parkway in Sterling. Currently, these homes range from 335k-360k. Many of these homes back to woods and are very close to Algonkian Park.
- Brambleton/ Ashburn - Brambleton is home to multiple styles of townhomes. They are about to sell out of new construction town homes temporarily. However, if you can find a re-sale on the older Beazer towns or Miller and Smith town homes you better act quickly. These homes usually don’t stay on longer than a week. Price on townhomes in Brambleton rage from around 325k- 425k.
Loudoun’s 3 Best Move Up Neighborhoods…
Priced from 425k – 600k.
- Ashburn Village/ Ashburn. Ashburn Village is one of the area’s most family friendly neighborhoods. With schools within the community, great amenities, and housing prices for all price ranges it is an easy choice for many. Prices on single family homes can range from 425k- 650k on average.
- Broadlands/ Ashburn. The Broadlands is a popular choice for many families wanting the option of a newer community in the Ashburn area. There are still homes being built in the community. Single family homes can range anywhere from 450k-900k on average.
- Woodlea Manor/ Leesburg. Woodlea Manor is a really cool single family home community in Leesburg with great proximity to major routes. Besides the diversity of style in the community, one of the unique features of the homes there are that they all have cedar shake shingles. Homes in Woodlea Manor can range currently between the 500k’s to mid 600k’s.
Loudoun’s 3 Best Luxury Neighborhoods…
Priced from 400k’s to the 3M’s…
- River Creek/ Leesburg River Creek is a hidden jewel for those seeking luxury living with great proximity to major roads in Loudoun. Very close to Lansdowne, River Creek is a gated golf community built overlooking the Potomac River. There are large townhomes in the community so prices can currently range from the mid 400k’s to the 2M’s.
- Beacon Hill/ Leesburg Similar to River Creek, Beacon Hill is another Leesburg Luxury Home community that many gauke over when driving by on Route 7 west. Homes in Beacon Hill are larger than in most communities and are set on rolling hills. Prices can range from the 800k’s to 3M on average.
- Grenata Preserve/ Leesburg Grenata is a community still being developed by Creighton Homes. With spacious lots and custom homes, this is one community that doesn’t disappoint. Homes vary in price based upon selections and design. However, expect prices in the millions…
