April 2009 Home Sale Stats: Loudoun County VA

April’s numbers are in…  and they appear to be healthy. 

• The average sales price is up.   I am very optimistic and hopeful for our market.  But one month of increase is not enough to draw conclusions on.  Keep watching.
• There are a few more listings on the market this month. This is to be expected in April.. The good news is that there is not a flood of new homes.
• The best news is the amount of homes under contact (PENDING).  This means buyers are out and that they are buying.
